Julian Rangel

Julian Rangel, age 79, of Temple, Formerly of Austin, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at his home in Temple. He was born in Rio Verde, San Luis, Mexico on February 16, 1944, the son of Dionicio and Paula (Ibarra) Rangel.

A visitation will take place on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home 3110 Airport Rd. Temple, Texas 76504.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at 10am at the funeral home with Pastor Juan Rivas officiating.

Julian was an evangelist and did mission work while in Mexico and when he move to Austin he became a homebuilder and continued his mission work.

He is survived by his wife Eunice Rangel of Temple, his children, Elias Rangel and wife Victoria of Odessa, Ruben Rangel of Austin, Nancy Rangel of Austin, Maritza Trout and husband Nathan of Austin, Candy Ocharo and husband Oscar of Temple, Clara Rivas and husband Luis of Round Rock, and Yanet Rivas and husband Adrian of Temple, grandchildren, Avery, Reid, Everly, Abraham, Megan, Samuel, Sarah, and Bianca and great-grandchildren, Alana and Catalaya.

Julian was preceded in death by his parents and 4 brothers.

Julian Rangel, de 79 años, de Temple, antes de Austin, falleció el miércoles 26 de abril de 2023 en su casa en Temple. Nació en Río Verde, San Luis, México el 16 de febrero de 1944, hijo de Dionicio y Paula (Ibarra) Rangel.

El velorio se llevará a cabo el miércoles 3 de mayo de 2023 en Scanio-Harper Funeral Home 3110 Airport Rd. Temple, Texas 76504.

El funeral se llevará a cabo el jueves 4 de mayo de 2023 a las 10 a. m. en la funeraria oficiando el Pastor Juan Rivas.

Julián era evangelista e hizo trabajo misionero mientras estaba en México y cuando se mudó a Austin se convirtió en constructor de viviendas y continuó su trabajo misionero.

Le sobreviven su esposa Eunice Rangel de Temple, sus hijos Elias Rangel y su esposa Victoria de Odessa, Ruben Rangel de Austin, Nancy Rangel de Austin, Maritza Trout y su esposo Nathan de Austin, Candy Ocharo y su esposo Oscar de Temple, Clara Rivas y esposo Luis de Round Rock, y Yanet Rivas y esposo Adrian de Temple, nietos, Avery, Reid, Everly, Abraham, Megan, Samuel, Sarah y Bianca y bisnietos, Alana y Catalaya.

Julian fue precedido en la muerte por sus padres y 4 hermanos.
