Jimmy Mack Hodges was born in Austin, Texas to Chauncy W. and Vivian I. Scott on September 25th, 1937. He met Sylvia Sidney Stinnett in Killeen Texas and they were married on January 26th, 1960. Jimmy attended Killeen High School and received a B.A. from The University of Texas in Austin where he studied business administration and later graduated from the Executive M.B.A. program. He worked at the Texas Department of Transportation in Austin for 33 years with the culmination of his professional career as Assistant Director of Finance. He was proud of his tenure as Master of the Onion Creek Freemason Lodge #220 in 1974. After retirement he truly enjoyed traveling abroad and around the country with Sylvia in their R.V. He was a very devoted father and was an active participant in many of their activities, including the P.T.A, booster clubs, boy scouts, and coaching. He is survived by his wife Sylvia and his children Leslie Carol, Lisa Michelle and husband Jeff Burns, Mark Samuel and wife Lori Sims. Survivors also include his four grandchildren Craig Hodges, Alex and Sydney Burns, and Emily Gallagher. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
