Dr Jundt was truly my favorite Dr. I just found out he passed and my heart is broken for his family. He was so personable and diagnosed me correctly after others failed. May he find peace and love on the other side.

We’ve known Jeff and family since residency at Henry Ford Hospital, then at Scott and White. Our hearts are saddened to hear of his passing. Prayers for the family.

Jeff and I traversed , worked together and throughout medical school, internship residency, and his first practice at Scott and White Hospital in Temple Texas, a hospital as a an agreed site of work.  We built our first home and our second homes in Temple, Texas through the good workings of hard working people of Texas. Always happy in our decisions for our children and grandchildren in our fifty years plus of knowing each other and loving in a way money could not buy. Dr. Jundt was a wonderful doctor, I appreciate his kindness, support, encouragement and experience in treating me over the years. He gave me the necessary treatment and relief that I needed at the time.
He will certainly be missed but not forgotten.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Jundt many years ago and he was always kind and thoughtful. He will truly be missed.

So sad to hear of Dr Jundt's passing.  I first met him when I was a medical student at Texas A&M College of Medicine in the early 1990's.   Even though Rheumatology was not my favorite subject, he had a way of presenting it in a manner that made it interesting.  He was always approachable and made us feel part of the team as medical students.  After completing residency training, I returned to Central Texas and practiced at Metroplex Hospital (where he also practiced for many years).  He was such a great role model and I was so proud to have him as a colleague and friend.  He had the kindest demeanor, and I loved referring patient's to him as I knew they would receive the best care delivered with real compassion.  My condolences to his family.  May he rest in peace!

I am at a loss for words. Please know all of you are in my thoughts. I know Dr Jundt  was well loved and respected. He had great character and a big heart. I loved working for him and Kathy along with Alyssa. He will be missed dearly. 🥀

Kathy, Nancy and I are sadden with the lost you and your family have been struck.  We consider Jeff and you as good friends and colleagues. We shared patients, consultations,  (including a lot of griping in the past of common foes!) and camaraderie. We also remember our serendipitous meeting in Santa Fe with you and your family. 
We're so sorry that we missed the chance of communicating with you since yours and our retirements and hope to resolve it soon.

I only had the privilege of speaking with him face to face 3 times before I had the honor of assuming the address of his previous practice. The wonderful words of gratitude from all of his former patients was indicative of the kindness, care and love he bestowed upon all of them.  Dr. Jundt was a very fine gentleman and a great and passionate physician. I extend my prayers to his family and I  pray that Jesus will place His healing hands upon their heavy hearts.

After leaving emergency medicine after 16 years I went to work for Dr. Jundt in rheumatology. I really enjoyed working for Dr. Jundt he was a kind, soft spoken and very helpful in teaching not only his patients but his staff about rheumatology. I am very saddened to hear of his passing. I enjoyed working with him for 3 years at his private practice. He will be missed by many.

We were privileged to be a close colleague and friend of Jeff for almost 40 years. He was the quintessential physician, devoted to patient care, education of students, residents and peers, as well as clinical medical research. This patients loved him for his compassionate and personalized care and his medical acumen. He remained on the vanguard of innovations in the practice of rheumatology and was a highly sought after speaker and educator. Despite a very substantial clinical practice, he found time to engage in multiple clinical research trials to advance medical knowledge. 
His gentle demeanor, wisdom, approachability, and droll sense of humor will be missed by many.
