Helen "Vi" (Harris) Bryan

Helen Bryan was born in Round Rock, Texas August 7, 1932 the daughter of George Washington Harris and Naomi Champion Harris. She married Billie Fred Bryan on May 8, 1953. She was a dedicated wife and loving mother. Vi enjoyed fishing, camping and quilting with friends, but most of all being with her son working on splitting and stacking wood, helping to paint and stain when we were building anything outdoors. She loved sitting on the front porch watching the deer, wild turkeys and black bears. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two sisters, Edith Harris and Elizabeth McCright, a nephew, David McCright and a special friend, DeWayne Cargal.

Survivors include her son, Jerry Bryan and wife Lisa Bryan; grandson, Blake Bryan and wife Brittany Bryan; great grandchild, Cheyanne Bryan; and special friend, Karma Cargal.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Friday, April 28, 2023 at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple, Texas. Burial will follow at Holland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:00-11:00 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Bryan, Blake Bryan, David Magness, Billy Lee, David Hess and Jeffrey Fudge.
