Devoted wife and mother Ethel Rose Lowe Ellis, 76, died December 22,2023 at Park Place Manor in Belton, Tx. She was born July 26, 1947, to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lowe of York Al. She loved to follow her two older brothers around the yard and through the woods. Ethel was an avid reader most of her life. She had a book in her hands anytime she had time to sit-down. In high school she won the Betty Crocker Award for her cooking and baking. In 1966 she married Bobby Neil Ellis of Greenville. Al. They were married for 42 years before Bobby passed away in May, 2008. They had 2 children, Dena Ellis of Temple, Tx and Robert Ellis of Belton, Tx. Ethel is survived by her older brother's Carlton Lowe of York Al. and Wayne Lowe of Plant City, Fl. Funeral services will take place at Siloam Baptist Church in York, Al.
