Services for Ernest Alfred "Johnny" Johnson, 91, of Temple will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 19 at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple with the Rev. Gary DeSalvo officiating. Burial will be at Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple. Mr. Johnson died Friday, Aug. 4, in McKinney. He was born April 26, 1926, to Anna and Joseph Johnson in Massachusetts. He served in the U.S. Army based at Fort Hood and was a World War II veteran. He retired from the United States Postal Service after 30 years. He was preceded in death by two wives, Lavern Wiley and Candace Wallace; two daughters, Judith Harden and Patty Lenamond; and a great-grandchild. Survivors include a son, Ernest Alfred Johnson Jr. of Temple; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
