Dorothy Johnston, formerly of Corpus Christi, passed away on November 23, 2011 in Temple, Texas where she had resided for the past eleven years. A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm, November 26, at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, Temple
Mrs. Johnston was born July 26, 1923 in Alamosa, Colorado where she met and married Laurie Johnston on December 13, 1942. They were married 51 years at the time of his death.
Survivors include her daughter, Kay "Kitty" McClain and husband Vaughn, son Kirby Johnston and wife Linda, son Tom Johnston and wife Denine, seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
