Donna Marie Passentino

Donna M. Passentino, age 56 of Temple, died Sunday February, 13, 2011 in a local hospital. Services are scheduled for 1:00 PM, Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Rev. Don Loftin officiating. Donna Marie Passentino was born on June 15, 1954 in Chicago to the late John Brankin and Ann M. Eaton Brankin. She attended schools in Chicago and married Mike Passentino in Chicago. Donna lived in Chicago, California, Kentucky and settled in Texas. Donna was the owner of Cactus Jack's Steak House in Temple and was a member of St. Luke's Catholic Church in Temple. Donna was preceded in death by her parents. Donna is survived by her husband of 31 years, Roy Penny of Temple; was the adored mother to Angelena N. Passentino and husband Christopher Slone of Temple; loving grandmother of Chase Dean and Cage Christopher Passentino-Slone of Temple; loving sister of Thomas Brankin of Belton and Michael Brankin of Douglas, Wyoming and Maureen Wozny and husband Ron of Warrenville, Illinois. The family strongly encourages that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made in Donna's name to St. Luke's Catholic Church, 2807 Oakdale Drive, Temple, Texas 76502. Donna's requested that if you have a picture of you and her together to please bring it to the service on Wednesday. Donna's family invites you to join them for a buffet luncheon at Cactus Jack's Steak House following the service on Wednesday.
