David Richmond Tuck

David Richmond Tuck, Jr., loving father, son and brother, went to be with the Lord on January 4, 2014. He was born to David and Lenda Tuck on June 26, 1959 in Bryan, Texas. He married Brenda Joy Coleman on June 6, 1992. They loved each other dearly and were best friends. They were by each others side everyday and went to eternal life together. David loved spending time with family. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, trucking and operating heavy equipment, most recently building a small family lake. David and Brenda were both known for their big hearts and kind souls. Giving family, friends or even strangers the shirt off their back or their last penny is the way they lived life. Above all, they were most proud of their children and their grandchildren. Family was the most important thing to them. David is preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Coleman Tuck, his father, David R. Tuck Sr., and his brother Michael Wayne Tuck. David is survived by his mother, Lenda Tuck and his children Jeromy Tuck and wife Dana of Walsburg, Co., Jeffery Tuck and wife Shakema of Temple, Jessica Massengale and husband Sean of Plano and Jacklyn Tuck of Austin. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Cole, Kaitlyn and Warren Tuck, Jeffery, Japheth and Lyllianna Tuck and Alexa Tuck, all of which he adored. David is also survived by his stepchildren, Willie Mahan and wife Jody, children Rachel and Jonah and Carla Mahan and children Tyler, Trevor and Trapper. He will be missed by his sisters, Sherrell Evans and husband Joe, Shutona Vaughan and husband Darrell and many nieces, nephews and family members. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 8, 2014 between 6:00 and 8:00 at Scanio Harper Funeral Home. Services for David and Brenda will be held at Temple Bible Church at 2:00pm Thursday, January 9, 2014. David and his loving wife will be interred together at Moffat Cemetery.
