She graduated from Temple High School in 1972 and spent her life nurturing both her family and the things she loved most.
Cheryl had a natural talent for gardening, often referred to as having a "green thumb." She adored plants and flowers, with a special fondness for sunflowers. Her yard was always a reflection of her love for nature, and she took great joy in working in her own garden as well as helping friends with their yards. One of Cheryl’s greatest joys in life was her family, especially her grandchildren, Lyrik and Liam. Her love for them was immeasurable. She was also a fan of Kenny Chesney’s music, often playing it while she worked in her yard or spent time with loved ones.
Cheryl was known for her culinary skills, particularly her baking. She enjoyed making cakes and desserts, always sharing her creations with friends and family. She worked as a deputy clerk for the District Clerk’s office in Bell County, where she dedicated many years to serving the community with kindness and integrity. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sisters, Cindy Saffle and Candy Rosen.
