Phyllis Jean Williams, age 84, of Temple Terrace, Florida passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024. She was born December 7, 1939 in Charleston, West Virginia the daughter of Neddie Elouise Collins and William Gilbert Fenton.
She was passionate about her nursing career and her work at the VA hospital that she retired from. She was an active member of the Red Hats. She enjoyed watching her sons play sports growing up and never missed a game. She made sure her home and outfits always went with the seasons and holidays. Her family remember her as a bubbly energetic soul that always brought joy to a room. Every week she was at the thrift stores on Wednesday and garage sales on Saturdays.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Jimmy, David and Roger Harris; sister, Ann Wookey and granddaughter, Ashley Jean Williams.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 68 years, Homer Williams; sons, Joseph Williams (Cyndi) and Jesse Williams (Debra); brother, Randy Harris; sisters, Wanda Proctor (Freddy) and Rita Rodriguez (Ray); grandchildren, J.C. Williams (Ashlin) and Katie Moore (Eli) and great-grandchildren, Silas, Joseph Trace and June Moore.
A celebration of life will begin at 11 am, Sunday, November 10, 2024 at Blount and Curry, Terrace Oaks, 12690 N. 56th Street, Temple Terrace
