Lee was born in Louisville, Kentucky to John and Mary Lou Quinn on December 30, 1956. He attended Jeffersontown High School. Lee married the love of his life, Wendy K. Walsh on January 8, 1977, in Crestwood, Kentucky. He attended Florida College (1975-1976) and then graduated with his Bachelor’s degree from Eastern Kentucky University (1976-1978). Lee joined his family business, Restonic Sleep Products, where he worked alongside his family for over 38 years. He earned his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Louisville (2017-2019). Lee worked as a Senior Advisor with Rudy and Associates, was Founder of Lead and Serve, author of “On Your Own Terms: Creating A Sustainable, Value-Creating Business”, and most recently, Assistant Professor of Business at Florida College where he touched the hearts and lives of his students and colleagues.
Lee served faithfully as a song leader, Bible class teacher, deacon, and elder at the Charlestown Road Church of Christ in New Albany, Indiana. Most recently, Lee was a faithful and active member of the Temple Terrace Church of Christ.
Lee is preceded in death by his parents John and Mary Lou Quinn.
Lee is survived by his wife of 47 years, Wendy Quinn; his children, Chris Quinn (Yolonda), Laura Richman (Matt), Shawn Quinn, Seth Quinn (Ashley); his nieces Shelena Mullins (Lark) and Sierra Bernard; his siblings Bob Quinn (Mary), Ellen Zehnder (Matt) Tom Quinn (Mary); his grandchildren, Xander, Braedan, Keira, Quinn, Madelyn, Emery, Amelia, Mallory, Alexandra, Davis (mother, Erin), Autumn, Merick, Willow, Grayson, Sawyer, River, Ellie, Daisy; and many other dear family members and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 14th at Temple Terrace Church of Christ from 9:30am-11:30am.
Funeral services will be held 11:30 am Saturday, September 14th, 2024 at Temple Terrace Church of Christ. Arrangements are by Blount and Curry Funeral Home- Terrace Oaks Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to the Lee Quinn Endowed Scholarship Fund at Florida College, supporting scholarships for business students.
