John "Lenny" Wells Sr. of Tampa, 79, passed away at home August 7, 2021. Born February 10, 1942 in Arlington, Massachusetts, he relocated with his family to Tampa, Florida in 1981. Lenny served in the United States Marine Corps during the Viet Nam War. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He leaves behind his wife of 53 years, Donna Wells; daughters Pamela Settle, Patricia Ortiz, Kathy Byers (Michael Byers) and six grandchildren Courtney Settle, Taylor Settle, Abigale Byers, James Byers, Eleanor Byers, and Julia Wells (beloved daughter of John "Lenny" Wells Jr and Victoria Wells). He will be welcomed Home by his son Lenny, mother Margaret, brother Arthur, and many family and friends.
Services will be held on Friday, August 13, 2021 at 6:00 PM, with visitation starting at 5:00 PM, at Blount Curry Terrace Oaks Funeral Home, 12690 N 56th Street, Temple Terrace, FL 33617.
