Joe D. Ramsey, 83, went to be with the LORD on Sept. 24, 2023. He was a loving and devoted husband and will be dearly missed. He was born in Beelog, NC to Joseph and Maude Ramsey. Joe moved to Florida in 1978 and was self-employed. He was an Air Force Veteran and member of Belmont Baptist Church for almost 35 years. Joe loved to play his guitar and sing for the LORD. He produced a Gospel Music Show on Public Access TV for 10 years. He was also interim Pastor for Eureka Springs Baptist Church for about 7 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Wilma and twin sister Betty Jean; his brothers Donald and Charles.
Joe is survived by his loving wife, Janet (his honey) of nearly 35 years; brother Dennis of TN; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 2pm Sat, November 11, 2023 at Belmont Baptist Church, 7830 N 56th St, Tampa, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Belmont Baptist Benevolent Fund in his memory.
