Joe Gonzalez Jr., age 78, of Tampa, Florida passed away on Friday February 21, 2020. Joe was born in Tampa, Florida on December 9, 1941 to his parents, Jose (Joe) Gonzalez and Ofelia Gomez-Gonzalez.

Mr. Gonzalez was a US Army Veteran from 1958-1973; serving during the Vietnam War; Special Forces, nickname "The Snake"

Joe is survived by his wife, Tuddao Gonzalez; three daughters, Karen Marie Gonzalez, Terry Jo Urban, Tina Gonzalez-Walker, and son Joe Gonzalez III. Grandchildren, David B. Thomas Jr., Jessica M. Thomas-Schott, Christina Babbino, Desiree Phillips, Joseph Gonzalez IV, Michael A Walker, Christopher J. Walker, Joseph S. Walker.

A memorial service with Military Honors will be February 29, 2020 at 1 PM, located at Veterans Memorial Park, 3602 US 301 North, Tampa, Florida 33619
