Charles Wayne George, 71 years old, passed away on January 13, 2021 in Tampa, Florida with his son Andrew by his side. Charles “aka Dad, Pa Poo, Chuck, or Charlie” was born on August 11, 1949 in Houston, Texas to the late Andrew Clinton George Jr and late Willie Faye George Divin.
Charles is survived by his daughter, Candice Lyn Carter & her husband Tom, son Andrew Charles George & his fiancee` Jennifer, brother Daniel T. George & his wife Sandra, ex-wife Janice Sullivan, his grandchildren Evan and Kahlan Carter, his dog Jett, and numerous nephews and nieces.
He is preceded in death by his mother Willie Faye George Divin, father A.C. George, and brother Billy Rueben George.
Charles was a proud U.S. Air Force veteran. Most will remember him by his humor, generosity, and strong willed personality. His greatest joy in life was spoiling his dogs and grandchildren. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.
All services will be private. A ceremony will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Houston, Texas at a future date.
