Barbara settled in Tampa after high school, where she married and became a homemaker. After raising her family, she drove a school bus in Hillsborough County for over 25 years. Barbara enjoyed listening to country music, never missed her soaps, loved to travel and spend time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David Landers; son, Garland David Landers; daughter, Jacqueline Landers; four sisters and three brothers.
Barbara is survived by daughters, Paula Lasher (David) and Dixie Landers Ebanks; son, Jimmy Landers; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A funeral service will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Blount & Curry, Terrace Oaks Chapel, 12690 N. 56th Street, Temple Terrace, FL 33617. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Interment at Rose Hill Memorial Park, 4406 E. Chelsea Street, Tampa, FL 33610.
