Anne M. White

White, Annie (Anne) McClellan, 93 of Temple Terrace, Fla., passed away Monday May 23, 2022. Anne was born in Welcome, Fla., grew-up in Ft. Meade and settled in the Tampa Bay area in 1960, then moving to Temple Terrace in 1965 where she resided the remainder of her life.

Upon graduating from Ft. Meade High School in 1946 she attended Mound Park School of Nursing, graduating in 1949. Anne spent many years working at St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital as a nurse in the operating room, retiring at the age of 72. Anne was funny, kind and caring. In her retirement she enjoyed reading, playing cards and watching Gator football but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Anne was predeceased by her husband Ret. Cmdr. James T. White and her son Doug Marsh. Survivors include her children Greg Marsh of Temple Terrace and Patti Hansen (Frank) of Lutz; three stepsons Jimmy White and William B. White both of Tampa and Nathaniel White (Debbie) of Bartow; Grandchildren Lyndsey Marsh, Palm Beach Gardens, John-Travis Hansen Los Angeles, CA, Sydney Abram (Brandon) Columbus, Ohio, Jacob Hansen (Lauren) Seminole, Natalie Rhoton (Clint) Lakeland, Miles White Plant City; Great grandchildren Remi, Emmett and Thomas.

A Celebration of Life will take place a 2 p.m. Friday June 3, at Temple Terrace Community Church. A private graveside service will be conducted Saturday June 4 at Evergreen Cemetery, Ft. Meade Fla.
