Patricia Ruth Christianson passed away peacefully in the early evening of March 11th, 2018 after an extensive respiratory illness. She was 95 years of age.
Born in Los Angeles, California on January 3rd, 1923 to Victor Lewis VanAlstine and Gladys Alberta Cameron-VanAlstine. She graduated from Inglewood High School in 1940 and immediately went to work as was necessary after the depression and oncoming world war. She married William H. Williams in 1948. She had two children with this marriage, Dana Cameron Williams and Joan Williams-Kelly.
After the death of her first husband, Patricia married Walter R. Christianson in 2001. She then moved to Auburn, California. They were married for 12 years until Walter's death in 2013. She moved to Arizona in 2014 to be close to family.
Patricia was active in many organizations and groups over her lifetime. She sang soprano in a local choral group as well as with the church choir. She volunteered with the local hospital auxiliary and the church altar guild. She was active for many years with the American Business Women's Association of which she held many cabinet positions, including president of the local chapter. Later she would join the national philanthropic sorority Epsilon Sigma Alpha. With ESA she was able to travel throughout the United States to promote and raise money for City of Hope, St. Jude's Hospital, Shriner's, Jerry's Kids to name a few. After she moved to northern California in 2001, she was active with the Lion's club, becoming a Lioness in the local chapter. As well as being active volunteering, she enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, gardening and travel.
Patricia is survived by her son, Dana Cameron Williams, Daughter, Joan Lea Kelly. Grandson, Ryan Hall Williams. Granddaughters Shannon and Lauren Kelly, and many other family and friends that loved her and will miss her. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands William and
Walter and her sister Barbara Lee Stanley.
Memorial service with internment will be held on March 31st, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., Green Acres Cemetery-Heritage Remembrance Garden, Scottsdale, Arizona.

Patricia is gone from our lives but will be forever in our hearts and memories.
