Louise B. Smith

Louise graduated from Presentation High School in 1972 and San Francisco State University in 1976 earning a degree in Sociology. She joined the Federal Bureau of Investigation in 1976, becoming a Special Agent in 1982. She faithfully served her country and community for 28 years, retiring in 2004.

Louise had a passion for riding her bike throughout the Ventura County area, from the streets of Newbury Park to the beaches of Ventura. She was also very active in her Church, St. Julie Billiart of Newbury Park.

Louise is best remembered for her immense caring, love and devotion to her family and friends. They were the most important part of her life and she demonstrated it through her words and actions every single day.

She is survived by her husband, Johnny Smith; her sons, Joseph and Thomas Smith; her grandson, Maximilian Smith; her brother, Harry Borg.

The funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church, 2475 Borchard Road, Newbury Park, CA 91320.
