Not many people are as lucky as I was to have an extra parent fully dedicated to making my life better. I did not see it for the longest time because you didnt always have the nicest approach. Growing up, we both had our issues with each other but I know that made our relationship even stronger. The one thing you tought me more than anything is that love is a verb and not a noun. Actions show what we truly feel and I thank you for consistently expecting the most from me. I am so thankful that we were able to realize how much love we really had for each other before you passed away. My only regret is that you were not here to see the fruits of your labor. It took a while, but I want you to know youre hard work and suffering paid off.  It must have been tough to always be the bad guy. Looking back, I know that you only were so tough because you genuinely cared. You always expected the best in me even when others were just happy to let me get by. Thank you so much for never letting me slide by. It has forced me to try for my best life rather than my easiest life. You continue to be an influence in my life every day. Any time I feel sorry for myslef, I think about all the lessons you tought me on owning responsibility and making things better rather than wait for them to happen. You are and always will be one of the most important people in my life and I am forever grateful. I love you mom.

30 years ago today we certified our love in marriage. Today Tim, Saly and I fulfilled your final wishes in Tahoe as we celebrated our life together and the special impact you had on all of our lives. Jill was a sincere person who was easy to talk to. We were so happy when she told us she accepted Christ as her Savior. She is in Heaven with Jesus and we rejoice. We will be praying for you, Vern.

I was the best man at Vern and Jill's wedding, almost 30 years ago.  We were obviously all good friends prior to, and have remained so throughout the years.  Very few people are one of a kind, but Jill always filled that bill.  From her incredible banking/operations knowledge (Vern, Jill and I all worked together in banking...Vern and I, twice), to her warm friendship, great sense of humor, and always there to share a glass of wine with her old drinking buddy (me), they just don't make them like her anymore.  I can't begin to tell you how much she will be missed.  Fortunately, Vern and I have some great memories surrounding work, the wedding, and over 3 decades of being the closest of friends.  God Bless!

The battle is over Jill....you have your reward in Heaven, with Jesus , your Savior.  It was a pleasure knowing you, you were easy to get along with, and you tried to be faithful in you church attendance, but we knew you were not well.  God has finally called you home to rest, and now, we pray for your loving husband Vern, for strength to carry on, and for all your family & friends. Till we meet again, "later in the day".  

Jill was like a sister to me.  Many times when they'd go off on a cruise we'd go down to 'babysit ' their place... and when they came home something new was painted on the courtyard walls.  The guests & I would take bets on how long it would take for Jill to realize what I'd done. Fun times. 

I was blessed to have been a part of Jill's life. Although we have lost her, she is still with us in spirit and in our hearts forever.  God has definately gained another Angel.  May you rest in peace my dear friend.  I miss you  & take comfort in knowing we shall meet again someday....unril then.

Hello Vern, myself and Theresa wish you and your family are condolences. Jill is now in a better place and not suffering anymore, i know it hurts now, but time heals all. I will always think of Jill went were in Palm Spring in fact we went to the Blue Coyote and had a Margarita for her over this Memorial Day Weekend, we wish you the best, Ve Con Dios my friend.  

Dear Vern,
We only knew the 2 of you for a short time here at our church.  When you asked us to take our Rosie to church when you moved to Prescott..little did we know that the Lord would take both of the London gals home to Him so soon.
As Rose and I talked, she shared how much the both of you had done for her and how very grateful she was for your care.
Now those 2 gals are praising the Lord in their lovely British accents.

Jill was compassionate and caring. She shared with both family and friends in many unique ways.

Jill was my sister-in-law, but because I didn't have a sister, she filled that void. She was fun, and loved to laugh. She was a wonderful step-mother and then later a pet momma. I will never forget the day she called to tell me she had found a momma Labrador and she was having puppies! We were one the phone during the whole birth! She was SO happy!

Jill was a very special friend.  We had known Vern for a few years before we met Jill since Gene had Bible Studies with Vern for over a year.  We met Vern and Jill at our church and Jill accepted Christ as her Savior, loved the Lord and was a caring person.  She always thought and helped others even when she was so sick.  We are so pleased to call Vern and Jill our dearest friends.  They mean a lot to us!  We will miss Jill down here but we know she is with the Lord and we will see her again some day.  

We met the Sorensons years ago here at Agape Ranch.  They were a blessing to our family and with their loving heart serving God.  We miss Jill and are glad Vern led her to the Lord.  We will look forward to seeing her in heaven someday!

We met Jill (and Vern) over 20 years ago on a Lake Powell houseboat trip.  We stayed in touch via mail over the years and were ecstatic when they moved closer.  We really enjoyed the few times that we've been able to get together since they moved to Arizona.  So sad that we will miss more visits with Jill.   

Vern we here are thinking of two of you at this time of loss and we are sending sending our comforting vibes to you and the family. We think of all the great times that we had with you in Palm Spring and being the last guest to check. We thank you for all the great memories that we treasure .

 Leona and I have known  Jill and  vern for over a decade and in that time Leona and I had many fun times  with  Jill laughing together  going out to eat. Making Thanksgiving dinner together. Swimming sitting around having a drink and talking about England kids grandkids and  vern'  and sometimes got into some deep philosophy in LOL. She will be greatly missed . Sending hugs and love to you vern.

I first met Jill and Vern when they became clients.  Quickly, she and Vern both were thought of as friends. She was so kind. She will be greatly missed.

I didn't know jill very much, in fact not at all, but i did see her and talk to her and i could tell by the way she carried herself and sat there that she was a very peaceful, knowledgable lady. She carried herself with humble pride and very obviously loved her husband dearly. Jill is blessed to have had a husband like Mr. Sorensen, and Mr. Sorensen is blessed to have had a wife like Mrs. Sorensen, in this life. I could see how they balanced each other out perfectly, and held each other together in this life, and now she is in heaven taking her knowledge and her love Mr. Sorensen gave to her, and I'm praying that Mr. Sorenson is still holding onto that love, the Lord knows what he's doing at all times, no purpose of His can be thwarted. lastly, I pray for abundance in happiness for Mr. Sorenson, his family, Jills family and friends, because God is always right next to us even when we don't realize it. God bless you and what you do, always.

  I first met Jill at school. She's watching her husband teach math class, she was just the most kindest and sweetest lady ever met she reminds me a lot like my grandmother.  Mr. Sorenson told us a lot that her sickness was getting much worse and she wasn't going to last long. But he always wanted Jill to wait before going home for their anniversary.  Sadly this did not happen and she passed away. And-when  I heard-about this l was very heartbroken .  I'm very sorry for your loss Mr. Sorensen .  God bless you

Jill was and is a wonderful daughter in-law. WE are going to miss so much. She has had a tough few weeks and she fought a tough battle. May God bless her!!!

I have know Jill in a very special way. When both of our husbands were working away from home Jill and I spent many days together trying to make the time pass more quickly. We had many GREAT laughs and lots of afternoon games of rummicube. I especially enjoyed when 5:00 came and it was time to break out the champagne. I toast to you my good friend. May your be with the angels drinking champagne and eating strawberries.

Mark and I have had the honor of Jill's friendship for many years.  We will miss her dearly. This beautiful lady is my cousin Jill. When she called asking me to come visit her back in April I arrived within three days and we have had a great four weeks together. Not all doom and gloom, many hours talking about 
our family, our lives and what a great opportunity it was for us to get together and enjoy the good times.
I was still here with Jill and Vern when things took a turn for the worse and was honoured to have helped in Jill's last hours.
As kids we spent a whole summer together and tried to convince everyone that we were twins.....Ha ha! Jill was a very tiny person as you all know and me not so small. it was a great summer enjoying Candy Floss {cotton candy} from our grandad's sweet shop.{ Candy Store} having a lot of sun-filled days on the beach at Sandown Isle of Wight..
