I had not seen Streak in a while and have missed seeing him. I always enjoyed seeing him and Martha at the Claiborne County Blue Devil Basketball Games. From the early 90's until the school closed they missed very few home games. Streak always made in a point to come and talk with me and tell me how much he enjoyed being there. I truly, truly miss seeing that big grin on his face. 

I worked with Ralph's wife (Martha) for over 20 years.  I know Ralph was a fun loving man who had many friends throughout his lifetime. He was always so friendly to everyone... and he loved getting together with their friends. Ralph and Martha loved to travel before and after they retired.  I remember that they took numerous bus tour trips, one was a 4 week bus tour to Alaska and back.  I will miss talking to him on the phone; I think the last time we talked was in March when I called to check on Martha. Rest in Peace friend.



Martha, so hated to hear about Ralph.  Prayers 

My name is Deborah Webb I was Ralph’s Nurse for his primary care. Every time I come to his home he would try to feed me, he would get out his recipe book and share his recipes with me there was one dessert he taught me to make that I can’t get enough of. Even when my visit was over every single time Ralph would always say We love you miss Debbie.  When I first took him and Martha on as patients I was like wow Ralph and Martha that was my parents names Ralph and Martha as time went on I grew very fond of them they are like My family his birthday is actually the same as my sons. He and I had a lot in common and he will be very missed. He was such a wonderful man.

Pickle (Ralph) was a proud, simple man. He loved life and people.
He loved making others laugh. It's hard to imagine how one person can affect so many lives in such a loving positive way, but Pickle did. I was first a neighbor, then a friend, and with the births of my sons we became family. 
He set a great fatherly example for a lot of children throughout his lifetime. My family has 46 years of loving memories of special times spent with Pickle and we will always cherish them. It is true, one person can change the world through love and kindness. We will always love and miss Pickle.
