Rachel Thomas

Rachel Marie Thomas age 87 of Harrogate, TN was born March 6, 1923 and passed away December 10, 2010 at the Pineville Hospital. She was a member of Clairfield Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Lillie Cline Lane; infant children, Carl Lewis and Darrell; Sisters, Dollie, Joyce Ann, Pauline, Clara and Cindy all of Clinton, TN; brothers, Floyd, Arvel and Albert all of Clinton, TN; husband who passed away in 1993 Lewis Thomas, they were married for 51 years.

She is survived by Son: Jimmy Thomas (Brenda) of Arthur, TN

Grandchildren: Debra Spurgeon (Kevin) of Maryville, TN

Lisa Thomas of Tazewell, TN

Darrell Thomas (Denise) of White House, TN

Great Grandchildren: Kevin and Sarah Spurgeon, Jessica and Ashley Thomas; Mikaluh and Joshua Thomas

Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 3 until 5 P.M. Sunday at the Coffey Funeral Home in Harrogate with funeral service to follow at 5 p.m. Sunday December 12, 2010 in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial at 11:00 A.M. Monday in the Hooper Cemetery.
