John was born in Phoenix, AZ to the late Peter Trad and Olga Durovec Trad. Upon graduating high school in 1974 he joined the Air Force where he met his wife and was married in 1976. John had recently moved here with his wife and they became members of Wolfenbarger Chapel Baptist Church. He was devoted and dedicated to his Christian faith and church. John's favorite past time/hobbies was time with his grandchildren, reading, traveling and puttering in the garage.
He is survived by his wife Anita Ramsey Trad, daughter Stephanie Trad Barth and spouse Robert. Son Anthony Trad and Michelle Dockins. Five grandchildren, Karl, Evelyn, Jack, Anthony James (AJ) and Elizabeth. Brothers Mike Trad and wife Renee Teeples Trad, Dany Trad and Louis Trad and numerous nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends Saturday August 13, 2022 from 12 until 2 PM at Coffey Funeral Home in New Tazewell, TN. The funeral service will be at 2 PM in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel. A graveside service will follow in the Payne Ramsey Cemetery, Powell River Rd, in Hancock County.
After the graveside service family and friends are providing a meal at the Wolfenbarger Church Pavilion. All are welcome.
Officiating pastors are Paul Jr. Gilbert and Jimmy Snodgrass.
Singers are April Gilbert and Wendy Marsee Snodgrass.
Pallbearers are Michael Trad, Brian Trad, Adam Ramsey, David Bledsoe, Mike Ramsey and William Hurst.
