Jennifer Kay Neal of Tazewell was born on Sunday, October 20, 1963 and passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 9. 2019 at Fort Sanders Regional Hospital. Jennifer was saved and baptized at the age of 11 at New Tazewell First Baptist Church. Jennifer is preceded in death by her infant son, Benjamin and grandparents Rev. Oscar and Mossie Whitaker Neal and John and Barbara Dalton. Jennifer is survived by her children Jenna Leigh Cantrell of Knoxville, TN, Jackson Dalton 'J.D.' Cantrell of Kettering, OH, and Zachary Tarter of Tazewell, TN. Her parents Kenneth and Marie Neal. Sisters Cindy (Gary) Crutchfield and Kristy (Tim) Imber. Nieces and nephews Katie Imber, Clanci Tipton, Piper Wheatley and Jeremy Crutchfield. Two great Nieces. Two great Nephews. One Aunt Mibby Barnes of New Baltimore , MI. Jennifer was a member of The New Tazewell First Baptist Church where she loved her Sunday School and the friendships she made there. She was a volunteer for the TNT Little League and a very active part of Christian Fellowship Softball. Jennifer had a fun loving personality, she was extremely witty and loved life. She never met a stranger, forgave quickly, loved sports and going out to eat. Jennifer attended the University of Tennessee and Sinclair Community College. She worked at Volunteer Knit Apparel and Koch Foods.
The family will receive friends Tuesday March 12th from 5 until 7 P.M. at Coffey Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 7 P.M. in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel. A graveside service will be held Wednesday March 13th at 11 A.M. in Cave Springs Cemetery.
