James Hayes

James “Red” Hayes age 80 of New Tazewell, TN was born March 1, 1931 and passed away on May 18, 2011 at Claiborne County Hospital. He was saved at an early age and was a member and Deacon of Highland Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his Mother and Father Jim and Mandy Brown Hayes; Sister Elizabeth Christian half brother, Ulis Carroll; Son-in-law, Jessie Carroll; Great Granddaughter, Stella Moyers Mother and Father-in-law: Clarence and Tennie Mabe.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years: Onalee Hayes

and a host of Brothers-in-law and Sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 P.M. Saturday night at the Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell with funeral service to follow at 8 P.M. Saturday night May 21, 2011 at Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in the Irish Memorial Gardens on Sunday at 11:00 A.M.
