Garnet Scott

She was born January 30, 1947 in Lee County, VA daughter of the late Timothy and Flossie Lemons Beldsoe.

Garnet was a member of the Wolfenbarger Chapel Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Raymond “Scotty” Scott; brothers and sisters: Izena, Vernice, Paul, Glen, Timothy, Ike Bledsoe and Sarah Harlan.

Survivors include three children: Raymond (Larriette) Scott, Jr. of Proctor, Tammy (Joseph) Sberna of Sherrard and Tina (Tim) Carrigan of Marianna, PA; eight grandchildren: Zachary Sberna, Timothy Sberna, Jordan Scott, Austin Corvino, Sarah Sberna, Hattie Scott, Aden and Alton Carrigan; two brothers: Gene Bledsoe of Tazewell, TN and Bill (Nora) Bledsoe of Moundsville; one sister: Sue (Roger) Seabolt of Tazewell, TN; one sister-in-law: Thelma Scott of Beaver Dam, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 6-9pm and on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-9pm at the Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville. Friends will also be received on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-9pm at the Coffey Funeral Home, 937 Broad St., Tazewell and on Friday from 10:00am until time of service at 12 noon at the Wolfenbarger Chapel Baptist Church, 3704 Powell River Rd., Tazewell, TN.

Interment in Wolfenbarger Cemetery, Tazewell, TN.
