Cecil Ajha Brogan

Cecil Ajha (Mrs. Willard) Brogan was born March 6, 1916, and passed away on December 4, 2014, at the age of 98. She and her husband Judge Brogan owned and operated Brogan’s Grocery on Hwy. 33 in Cedar Grove from 1948-1983. She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 70 years Judge Willard J. Brogan, her parents O.E. and Dessie Moyers; her brothers Coker Moyers and Prentis Moyers, and her son-in-law Hollie E. Smith.

She is survived by her son: Jack Brogan and wife Inez

Her daughter: Mary Brogan Beeler all of New Tazewell

Her three grandchildren are Steve Brogan, Deborah Brogan & Elizabeth Evans

Her great Grandchildren are Todd Brown, Tony, Tyler & Teri Brogan, Ashley Arnwine and Anna Evans. She has one sister: Flo Craig.

She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 P.M. Sunday December 7, 2014 at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell with funeral service to follow at 7:00 P.M. Sunday night in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial Monday at 10:00 A.M. in the Fairview Cemetery.
