William was born in Seminole, TX on December 22nd 1943 to William C. Sanders and Aurelia Morgan. William, a resident of Taylor for more than 35 years was a member of the Taylor Optimist Club and a former employee of the Taylor Daily Press. William was also a proud graduate of the University of Texas and a lifelong supporter of the Longhorns. William honorably served in the United States Marine Corps from 1965 through 1968, spending much of his time in Vietnam.
William is preceded in death by his beloved parents, William and Aurelia Sanders.
William is survived by his wife, Billye Carolyn Sanders; his three daughters, Amanda Morris, and her husband Eddie (of Pflugerville), Amber Organ (of Hutto), Morgan Sanders (of Nacogdoches); his two sons, Joshua Sanders and his wife Sara (of Thorndale) and Joseph Sanders and his fiancée Andrea Thornton (of Hutto); five grandchildren, Sabrina, Riley, Tyler, Samantha and Taylor; his sisters Bobbye Slack (of Brownfield) and Sue Sharp (of Lubbock) as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday January 18th at Condra Funeral Home from 1pm to 3pm, with a Celebration of Life at Rowe Valley Event Center immediately following. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ronald McDonald House of Austin.
