Sherry Kramer

Sherry was born in Bastrop, Texas on January 7, 1948, to Willis DeFlay Martin and Beulah McAfee Martin. She was later raised in Austin, Texas and graduated from McCallum High School. Sherry is survived by her brothers Willis Martin of Malakoff, Texas, Richard Martin of Austin, Texas and sister Laverne Hardee of Smithville, Texas as well as daughter Shelly Cave of Leander, Texas, sons Jason Kramer of Georgetown, Texas and Jeffrey Kramer of Mingus, Texas. She was blessed with a grandson Devon Cave, granddaughters Ashley Cave, Andrea Kramer, Lucy Kramer, Piper Kramer, and great grandson Noah Ortiz. Sherry is preceded in death by her husband Keith Kramer and parents Willis DeFlay Martin and Beulah McAfee Martin.

Sherry had such a bright soul; she was definitely one of a kind. Her perspective on life was unique and she was always noticing the good in the world. Her grandchildren and great grandchild brought her the utmost joy. Any chance that she had the blessing to see them would immediately brighten her mood. She enjoyed many things in life including all types of animals, but especially horses. They brought a big smile to her face like no other. You never saw Sherry without a book. A perfect day for her would be sitting on the seashore getting lost in a book for hours. Her love for gardening was her true happy place and loved creating gorgeous flower beds and tending to them. Sherry was a courageous woman who fought many battles along her journey but with each battle she would share her experience with others in hope of assisting others. She had a way of impacting whoever crossed her path in a way not many can and you could feel the love she radiated. She loved hard, and the way she loved her recently departed husband, Keith, her children, grandchildren, and great grandchild will continue to live forever in each one of our hearts.

A Graveside Service will be held at Taylor City Cemetery on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at 10:30 AM located at 1101 East 4th Street Taylor, Texas 76574. Gathering to immediately follow.
