Megan was born in Austin on April 22, 1985 to Morris and Mary Ellen Krueger. She graduated from Taylor High School in 2006.
She worked at the Dayhab made available by The Company of Rock House since 2006 for 15 years. Megan loved dancing, eating, dressing up and attending camps. She enjoyed being color coordinated and doing things with her peers. She was actively involved in Special Olympics.
Megan is survived by her parents Morris and Mary Ellen Krueger of Thrall and brother Mason Krueger of Thorndale. She is also survived by her uncles Michael Krueger of Hutto, Bill Theis (Claudia) of California, Sidney Theis of College Station as well as cousins Tristan, Elspeth, Spencer, and Marshall Theis.
Megan is proceeded in death by her grandparents: Oscar and Iris Theis and Marvin and Lucia Nell Krueger.
The family of Megan Krueger wishes to thank The Company of Rock House, Georgetown, Texas, for their wonderful and responsible care of Megan for the past 16 years. It truly became her home.
Also, her devoted caretakers Mary Binder, Sue Esteron, and Yemi Alli are very much appreciated for their deep and abiding love for Megan especially while seeing her through her darkest times. These ladies truly enjoyed Megan’s unique, bubbly personality even though she never said a word to them.
We would also like to thank the many teachers, educational assistants, specialists, doctors, and friends who had an impact on Megan’s life and contributed to Megan’s well-being.
