Lee is survived by his childhood sweetheart and wife of 68 years, Gloria; his children, Lupie and David (Becky); his grandchildren, Mark (Rosa), Cristi, Cheri, Jonathon and David; his great grandchildren, Laurie, Renee, Haley, Anthony, Stephen, Jaden, Victoria, Riley and Amariee; great-great grandchildren, Nicholas, Aliza, Isaiah, and Amelia; Siblings, Carolina, Aurora, Mary and Santos. He is preceded in death by his parents, Santos and Cleofas and his two brothers, George and Martin.
Lee was born on March 25, 1929 in Hutto, Texas. On October 19, 1952 he married his best friend and love of his life, Gloria. Lee was a very loving husband. He and Gloria did everything together. He always worked hard to take care of her and was her protector. He retired from the Hutto Co-Op after 52 years as a ginner, truck driver, and in the feed department. Lee was a God-fearing, family, and Christian man who read his Bible daily. He was a deacon since 1977. He was a member of The Fellowship Church in Hutto. Lee enjoyed fishing, hunting, working in his garden, and taking all his grand children and great grandchildren to school. He helped coach the Taylor Braves and was an avid Texas Rangers fan. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who knew him.
All funeral services will be held at Condra Funeral Home, 503 Talbot St., Taylor, TX. Visitation is Tuesday, April 6th from 6-8pm. Service is Wednesday, April 7th at 10am followed immediately by the interment at Santa Maria Cemetery in Hutto, TX. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to Gloria Martinez at P.O.
