Helen Frances Newman Hilton

2016 at the age of 101.

She was born on August 28th, 1915 in Williamson County to Frank and Lena Newman. She had 4

sisters ~ Nora, Nannie, Edna ,and Margie ~ and one brother, Frank, Jr. She was married to

Shelby Bratton Hilton and they were blessed with two daughters, Helen Janell Hilton Felton and

Rena Mae Hilton Moerbe Kanak. She has 6 grandchildren ~ Billie Imbert, Barton Felton, Debbie Stojanik, Donna Kerlin, Gary Moerbe and Leslie Moerbe. She was also blessed with 11 great- grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren and one on the way, 2 step great-grandchildren; and 4 step great-great grandchildren. The kids were her pride and joy throughout her life.

Frances was baptized and confirmed at Detmold Lutheran Church by Pastor Bogisch. She loved

cooking and baking, working in her yard and garden, sewing and playing games, especially fortytwo

dominoes. She also very much loved her little Pomeranian ~ Fancy. She was an inspiration

to all who knew her.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband Shelby Bratton Hilton, parents, sisters Nora, Nannie, and Edna and brother Frank, Jr., her daughter, Janell, and a great-granddaughter.

The family would like to especially thank the nurses and caregivers at the S.PJ.S.T Nursing home

in Taylor, Texas for taking such great care of her and providing friendships and love to her for as

long as she was in their care.

A private celebration of life was held at the Taylor City Cemetery where she was laid to rest

alongside her husband, Shelby, daughter Janell, and a great-granddaughter, Brandy Rochee.

She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
