Dorothy Vlasta Kotrla

Dorothy Vlasta Kotrla, 90, of Taylor and formerly of Jonah, TX for fifty years, entered into rest on Sunday September 2nd 2012. Dorothy lived a long life of love serving her husband and family through her years of hard work in the garden and her years of raising chickens, and could often be found working side by side with her husband in the fields farming.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Clifton Frank Kotrla and his wife Jackie Kotrla of Taylor, TX; her grandson Gene Kotrla and his wife Kasey Kotrla of Boerne, TX; her granddaughter Darwa Webb and husband Thomas Webb of Granger, TX; and her great-granddaughter Julie Kotrla also of Granger, TX.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her loving parents, Anton and Millie Kurecka; the love of her life Frank Kotrla; her infant daughter Dolores K. Kotrla; and her daughter-in-law Linda Kotrla.

A visitation will be held in Condra Funeral Home at 6pm on Wednesday September 5, 2012.

Funeral Services will be held in Taylor Brethren Church at 10am on Thursday September 6, 2012.

Dorothy V. Kotrla will be laid to rest in Taylor City Cemetery.
