Clara Belle Willenberg Voigt, age 76, passed away Friday March 8, 2013 at her home in Taylor, Texas surrounded by her family and loved ones. Clara was born in Red Rock, TX to Herman and Emma Willenberg. She married her husband Carl James Voigt on June 17, 1955. Clara enjoyed working in her garden and yard tending flowers and potted plants. She loved spending time with her family, traveling and participating in various church activities and groups. Clara worked at Johns Clinic and later Scott and White Clinic as a medical transcriptionist until she retired. She was a member of First United Methodist church in Taylor as well as Relay for Life and New Century Club.
Clara was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Voigt; her parents, Herman and Emma Willenberg; her brothers, Baby Elroy Willenberg,and Hubert Willenberg; her sister, Addie Mae Whitworth; and her brother-in-law, Royce Voigt.
She is survived by her children, Debbie Voigt of Cedar Park ,Wayne and Connie Voigt of Taylor; her grandchildren, Travis and Jessica Voigt of Taylor, Keith and Jessica Kerlin of Hutto, Linnea and Landon Gheer of Plainview, TX, and Kara Kerlin of Taylor; 4 great grandchildren; 3 step-great grandchildren; her brothers, Billy and Marie Willenberg and Jimmy and Connie Willenberg; her sister-in-law, Margie Willenberg;her sister-in-law, Billie Voigt; her brother-in-laws, Howard Whitworth and Jake and Lillie Belle Voigt; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held Monday March 11, 2013 from 6-8pm at Condra Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday March 12, 2013 at 10 am at First United Methodist Church in Taylor. Burial will follow at Pettytown Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Elroy Whitworth, Doug Whitworth, Gene Whitworth, Herbert Bartsch, Wesley Willenberg, and Kenneth Willenberg.
