SPARKMAN, Walter Huston, 74, of Tampa. On Aug 26, 2014, the Lord took the most wonderful father and best friend in the world. Walter H. Sparkman was 74 years young. Born on 11/11/1939, he is survived by his loving daughter and best friend, Melody L. Sparkman, his son, Roy Huston Sparkman, and brother, Herbert M. Sparkman along with several family members from Brooksville, FL. He will be joining his best friend, Stanley Meadows, at the big fishing hole in Heaven. Services will be held at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4207 E. Lake Ave, Tampa, on Saturday, Sept 6, 2014 at 3 pm, with military burial to follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. In lieu of flowers, donations toward final expenses will be greatly appreciated.
