Walter "Frank" Anderson

Anderson, Walter “Frank”, 86, was called home to heaven on May 23, 2016. Born in Meridian, MS, he was preceded in death by his son, Rev. Lowry Anderson. He is survived by his beloved wife, Willene; brother, Hayward Anderson; daughter-in-law, Kandi; stepchildren, Hubert Brooks (Nancy) and Jan Darrigo (Carl); 7 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Frank owned Frank Anderson’s Sales & Service, a commercial construction business, for over 25 years that built feed plants and was also owner of Frank’s Auto Sales for over 10 years. Frank had been a trustee in the Church of God and dearly loved gospel music. He had a passion of traveling and a love for all sports, especially golf and fishing. Family and friends getting together was always special to him. Frank served in the U.S. Navy. He always had a twinkle in his eyes, quick wit and a great sense of humor. His family and friends will dearly miss him. Memorial services will be held at 11am with visitation starting at 10am on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Blount & Curry Funeral Home Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W Bearss Avenue, Tampa.
