Shaner, Virginia "Jenny" 80, of Tampa, passed away on July 17, 2019. Jenny was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Shaner in 2012 and her son, Aubrey Minor. She is survived by her children Scott, Tammy, Rhonda, Melinda, Teresa; brother, James Durrance; and grandchildren, Austin, Justin, Dawn, Tosha, Jennett, Kati, Josh, Samuel, Adam and Lara. She was a member of the Moose Lodge in South Tampa and enjoyed spending time with her family. The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at the Blount & Curry Funeral Home-Carrollwood Chapel. A graveside service will be held 11:00am, Monday, July 29, 2019 at the Florida National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in Jenny's memory.
