Virginia Lee Burgess

Virginia was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

She was a Southern Baptist and very passionate about her church activities. During her lifetime she served as children's and women's Sunday school teacher and teacher and principle of Vacation Bible Schools and served on various committees.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Glenn Burgess and son, Steven Glenn Burgess.

Virginia is survived by her loving children: Gloria (Russell) Mantovani, Patty Platt, Tim (Sheila) Burgess, Ingrid (Guru) Cotton, Lee Ann (Ron) Remon; her loving grandchildren, Robert Burgess, Tara (Jason) Stamm, Adam Mantovani, Micah Mantovani, Rebecca Platt, George Platt, Crystal Platt, Crystina Platt, Alexander Ramsey, Bronté Remon, Joshua Remon and 16 great grandchildren.

Visitation will take place at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories , 4207 E Lake Ave, Tampa, Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 10 am. A graveside service will be held at Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 11 am at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
