Verna A. Jones

She was a proud Florida native born and raised in Tampa.

Verna is survived by her husband, Matthew K. Jones; daughters: Cheri Ramsey, and Jennifer Buckingham; sons: Richard and John; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She graduated from Hillsborough High School and for the past sixteen years has worked for Publix in Tampa Palms as a cashier. She loved her job and customers who became some of the best friends she has ever known.

There will be a Celebration of Life at the J.F. Swartsel Lodge #251, 3109 Lutz Lake Fern Road, Lutz, FL 33558 at 11:00 am on December 3, 2022.
