Tony Romanello

Antonino "Tony Romanello" 93, a long life native of Tampa passed away Friday, February 23, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 6, 1930, to the late Pietro and Maria (Quartararo) Romanello. He was owner and operator of Tyrone Shoe Repair in St Petersburg, FL for over 31 years. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 59 years, Giuseppina Antonina Romanello; and his infant son, Antonino Pietro Romanello. Tony is survived by his loving daughters and son-in-law, Maria and James Bearden and Giuseppina "Pina" Romanello; cherished grandchildren, Cristina Maria Middaugh (Drew), James C. Bearden (Jennifer), Anthony J Bearden (Alaina); and great-grandchildren, Sophia and Joseph Middaugh and AnnaMaria and Adelina Bearden; his sisters, Vincenzina "Jennie" Piazza and Rose Raffeo; and sister-in-law, Rosalie LoPresti (Andrew); and a niece and nephew as well as other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 5-7 pm at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 E Lake Ave., Tampa, FL 33610. Services will be held on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 1pm at the funeral home, followed by Entombment at Garden of Memories Cemetery.

A visitation for Tony will be held Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 E LAKE AVE, TAMPA, FL 33610. A funeral service will occur Thursday, February 29, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories.
