Thomas Debrough McRae

Thomas Debrough McRae, lived a full life until the age of 92, on February 2022, when he left us to reunite with his wife, son, sister, and a cloud of witnesses. Hebrews 12. Of course, he is better know by his name T.D. He was a man who valued living by faith, sharing the love of Christ, and making a deal. Pursuing these three goals was only ever interrupted to pursue the love of his life Dorothy McRae, deceased. TD made his first deal at age 15 when he borrowed 100 to make 1,000 and sold his first piece of property. In his last property deal he was 92. He was sharp, tenacious, and loved.

TD was known for passing out $2 bills to just about everyone he met. He started this tradition around Christmas, wanting to ensure no-one goes without during this important season. He continued this throughout his life and all year long. He was generous and wanted to see more people reach their goals through the love of Christ. You may have seen one of his signs posted to announce the grace and love of God around the Greater Tampa Bay Area. Many have been blessed by the outreach of TD and Dorothy.

Born April 1929, TD was the patriarch of a large family, who loves and treasure his wisdom and life lessons. He will be missed. As we miss his wife, Dorothy, and son, Douglas McRae. Still here to continue his legacy, TD’s oldest daughter, Evelyn Pergola, and his youngest, Patricia McRae. And his son-in-law, wife of Evelyn, John Pergola.

Services will held Monday, March 7, 2022 at the Land O' Lakes Campus of Grace Family Church, 22920 FL-54, Lutz, FL 33549. The family will receive family and friends at 10 a.m. followed by a Service at 11a.m. The family request that in lieu of flowers donations be made to continue his work for his Lord Jesus Christ through his Jesus signs and personal scholarships.
