Theresa Mary Holmes Sacco

SACCO, Theresa Mary Patterson, 84, of Carrollwood passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, March 7, 2016. Theresa was born in Ontario, Canada where she owned and operated her own beauty salon for many years. In 1983, she moved to Tampa, Florida to be closer to her children and especially her grandchildren who could do no wrong in her eyes. She was a devoted and faithful member of St. Paul Catholic Church for over 33 years, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister. Theresa also volunteered at the University Community Hospital for over 10 years. She loved music and to dance but her greatest joy was being with her children and grandchildren. Theresa was preceded in death by her husband, Ross Thomas Sacco and her grandson, Ross Thomas Sacco II. She is survived by her children, Tom (Gwen) Sacco, Angela (Rick) Rasmussen, Ross (Lisa) Sacco, Kevin (Andrea) Sacco; grandchildren, Briana, Tommy, Brittany, Natalie, Ricky, Marc, Matthew, Kirstin, Andrea, Rachel, Joe, Kevin, Dakota and her very dear friend, Maxine Cabrera. A memorial mass will be held 10:00am, March 18, 2016 at St. Paul Catholic Church, 12708 N. Dale Mabry Hwy with a memorial gathering to follow at 11:30am at the Blount & Curry Funeral Home - Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W. Bearss Avenue.
