Susan Stewart

Susan Ellen Stewart, age 57, of Tampa FL, formerly from Milwaukee, WI, passed away February 26, 2022. She was born September 14, 1964 in Milwaukee to the late William (Bill) and Darlene (Dar) Piehl. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Mark W. Piehl and father-in-law Richard L. Stewart. Susan is survived by her loving husband Doug Stewart and brother Michael W. Piehl (Mary). She is also survived by her children by marriage Maigan (Mike) LaBlue and their children Ethan and Hannah, Jason (Sarah) Stewart and their boys Jack and Aiden, beloved mother-in-law Connie Stewart, sisters-in-law Kathy (Mark)Tumblin, Lori (Jeff) Norwood and Coleen (John) Gerkhardt. Her surviving nieces and nephews are Brian (Madison) Piehl, Michael (Marnie) Gerkhardt and their daughter Sutton, Kelly (Matt) Jurascewicz, Jessica (Tyler) Schleicher, Breanna (Ricardo) Diaz.

Susan was a fun loving person with a great sense of humor. At the same time she could be a no nonsense just get it done person. She absolutely loved being with her family and friends and did an amazing job with staying in touch with them. Her compassion, kindness and strength helped and inspired so many of us. She was always there to support and lift others up. Susan was in her element when she was at the beach. The beach was her happy place. She was a great wife, sister, daughter, friend and grandmother (she loved being called Nana). Susan was an extraordinary woman of strength, courage, faith and love and leaves that gift to us.
