Susan Belinda Levy Allen, 58, lost her courageous 7-year battle with breast cancer on April 6, 2017. She died at her home in Lutz, Florida with her family at her side. Susan, the youngest of five daughters, was born May 19, 1958 in Kingston, Jamaica to Lydia Frances Levy and Vernon I.C. Levy. Educated in Jamaica, she immigrated to Miami, Florida in 1978. Two years after her arrival in the United States, she met Nigel Anthony Carlisle Allen, with whom she remained in love for 36 years until her death. Susan and Nigel would have celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary on April 20, 2017. Susan worked for JP Morgan Chase Bank in Tampa for over 20 years. Her interests included family, cooking, travel and all things Jamaican. She was a devoted wife, sister, daughter, aunt, cousin and friend. Susan is survived by her husband, Nigel; sisters Yvonne Constantine Ryan (Hollywood FL), Helen Deanna German (Richmond, British Columbia, Canada), and Millicent Claire Smith (Thousand Oaks, CA); 14 nieces and nephews; and, beloved cats Sonny and Lexi. Susan was preceded in death by her mother, father, and sister Mary Wheeler. Donations may be sent to the H.
