We praise Him today for Sharon’s life. She was a Wife, Mom, Mother-in-Law, Meemee, Sister, Aunt, Friend, Employer and Mentor. She was an amazing companion to her husband, Paul, of 53 years. Sharon made space for others and gave value to all who crossed her path, always helping them find where they belonged and be their very best. She did not live her life and serve others out of what was left over. She gave her BEST; her whole life in service to God, her family, friends, and countless others. Sharon was the hands and feet of Jesus in a truly authentic way. She demonstrated Christ’s love as she served, cooked, cleaned, taught, counseled, housed, organized, prayed with, and prayed for so many of us. Her life was an “inspiration!” Sharon loved her Bible, especially the book of Proverbs. She always made time for those she loved. Sharon dearly loved her family, especially her grandchildren! It was her prayer and heart’s desire that her children and family all walk with the Lord, and by His grace, she will be pleased with our efforts. She leaves behind a legacy that challenges and encourages all who knew her. For now, we grieve the loss and unexpected home-going of Sharon, but because of her unwavering faith, we have confidence that she is in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13-14
