I find myself thinking alot about you these days. I miss you tremendously. Your family does as well. I think i should share with everyone especially the ones like myself and your family that loved you. We would always strike up deep conversations about our savior Jesus Christ.We both became lost many times in our life searching for some type of connection to love and peace we did not have. No matter how far we wavered off our true path the grace of God would pull us back with different events occurring. sometimes people. sometimes with hard lessons would shake us to clarity.but attached to each painful event when we looked back we realized God was with us in the fire the entire time. God suffered with us and we became closer everytime we realized how real God really was. You should know Sean I have always loved you and I miss our unique brotherly love we shared. The firm hugs we had when we were both in that fire and spiritual warfare. no matter what or who separated us we found our way back to each other. it was strang how our lives interwoven throughout each event. I didnt tell you enough how much i admire you. Together we filled gaps. I've changed my life now Sean   i wish we could have gone through these challenges life brings as a team. Now i know you are with me in spirit because i never forget you. I now am a devoted follower of Christ. He has saved me and now I see I would have not lived long enough to realize how lost I was without you. You have left a mark on me that I wear proudly.  I will honor your memory sean I promise. I love you man

Sean - my loving son.  It is 15 months that we found you and realized our profound loss. Every night I pray that you have found the love and comfort you were not able to find her on earth. As the youngest you had your share of hassles from your older brothers - but you were the first to defend them and share your joy in their achievements. You would be so proud of your brother, Ethan.  He is being commissioned to take over his own ship. We are going to share in his achievements and will be taking your photo along with us. You were so proud sharing comments about Ethan with your friends - so I know you will be in spirit with him at this event.  I returned from Illinois and from St Louis where I attended the Bereaved Parent Gathering. Your photo was on one of the centerpieces and at the Candlelight ceremony. A number of people I did not know came up to tell me what a handsome son I had - one that could have been a movie star. As a parent we wonder what our lost children could have achieved in life. Everyone tells me how smart you were and I know without your issues you could have done so much to make yourself and your Dad and me proud. I continue to say "Good Morning" to you each day and pray each night. I found comfort in Pastor Arnold's sermon on Sunday - "Saved by Grace - A Child of Light" -- I plan to use this on the memorial garden I am putting in where you liked to sit.  This photo reminded me of what Pastor Arnold was saying - I like to think you were looking for the LIGHT.   I continue to miss you and know you are in the Loving Arms of Jesus.  Your Mother ---

From 16 months ago when only 40 Mama's were part of this group it is now up to over 4,000+. That is a lot of Grieving Mama's who are going to make a difference. I keep hearing how smart, how handsome or pretty, how social or fun each child was - and I think of you. You were so loving, caring, and never seemed to meet a stranger. I am going to make some Teddy Bears from your shirts along with a Memory Quilt. Here is a photo of the posters on the beach.  I never wanted to join this group - but since I had no choice I am going to help make a difference.

Sean - It has been 13 months and 2 weeks that you left us to grieve. I miss you every day. I know you are in a better place - no pain and no anxiety or stress. But you left a large hole in our hearts.  Last week I attended a #NotInVain for Grieving Mama's. Your photo along with 57 others was on a poster and on the beach at The Tradewinds.  We Mama's all miss our babies - we could say your names and talk about the good times. Here is a graphic that one of the Mama's made for me. I think it is beautiful.
I pray for you each night and talk to your picture each day. I hope you know how much you are missed.

Today is your 1 year Heavenly Birthday, Sean. A year ago your Dad and I encountered the worst nightmare a parent could have. I touched your neck and kissed your forehead and cried out to God to grant you peace and comfort on your Heavenly Journey - I knew it was only your shell not you but it hurt so much. The only comfort that your Dad and I have had over the 365 days is that you made the commitment to Jesus to believe in him - that He came to earth and died on the cross and rose 3 days later. The Bible says all who believe that Jesus paid our debt for us will have Everlasting Life and will dwell with him forever. This is our comfort - that we will meet you when it is our time to leave our earthly bodies. Every night I pray for you and tell you how much I miss you. People at the church share how impressed they were with your help that evening at the Graduation Dinner. Other people I have met through Bereaved Parents and #NotinVain say how handsome and what a kind face you have. You were all that to me - but your eyes were what told me so much about you - the twinkle in those beautiful blue eyes. How and who started you  on this nightmarish journey that ended on 5-28-2018 -I wish we had some answers.  I am making a memory garden back where you used to sit.  Dad and I have donated scholarships in your name for Church Camp both summers and several other donations to Humane Society and Salvation Army . I miss hearing you share your dreams and hopes. Just wish you could have overcome that demon that took you so early from us.   You had so much promise. Sean I miss hearing you discuss politics, religion, history and music with your Dad - he said just a few months ago you were the only one who really had time for him and what he enjoyed. At your Memorial Service one of your friends shared with me that you stood up to a "bully" in gym class on his behalf - he said he will never forget that. So proud of you - Love forever. MOM

Sean would be 33 tommorow. I've been thinking about it for the last few weeks.  I miss him more than words can express . Sean was always there for me when I needed something, even if he didn't realize it. He was a very empathetic,  and caring individual who always had kind words for those he cared about.  He had a good heart  and truly cared about his brothers, parents,  cousins,  aunts , uncles and  relatives .  I still remember  rocking on a chair in Houston,  Texas  as Sean became a member of our family, just a few short days after the NASA space shuttle challenger had a tragic ascent.  I  was so.proud of my new baby brother. Happy birthday , buddy....

I am Sean's cousin and I would like to share some of my memories that I have with him.  I always enjoyed riding 4-wheelers with him when he came to visit us in Illinois.  He was eleven years older than me but never treated me like a little kid.  We always had a great time hanging out when he came back.  I will always remember the good times we had together!  

I am Sean's aunt and would like to share some special memories that I have of Sean.   I first met Sean when he was six or seven years old when his family came to visit their Illinois relatives.   He was such a charmer from the moment I met him and always so kind.   He remained true to being kind with his willingness to do anything to help someone in need.   There were many times that Sean put others needs before his own.   He loved everyone young and old but he was so good with my own children even though they were considerably younger than him.  My boys adored him and loved riding 4-wheelers with him when he came to visit.   Our family has a whole in our hearts since his passing but we find peace in knowing that we have a guardian angel looking over us in heaven.   You will be forever missed!

I am Sean's uncle & would like to share some of my memories of him.  Growing up Sean had his hands full with four older brothers, but he always seemed to handle their brotherly antics with a quick witted joke or antic of his own.  I always loved when Sean and his family would come back to Illinois to visit.  Sean especially seemed to have a true interest in seeing the farm and learning about the equipment used.  I grew up around the farm and sometimes took for granted some of the things, but Sean always brought a new perspective when he visited.  Everything was new and exciting to him.  He loved riding in the tractors and combine and was even more excited to ride with me in the semi-tractor trailer when we took a load of corn to the elevator one time.  I will miss his visits.  I always remember how much he loved riding the four wheelers with my boys and how good he was to them even though they were much younger than him.  I never remember him having a bad word to say about anyone.  He always seemed to look for the positive in everyone.  I know you will find peace in heaven and my hope is that your mom, dad and all of the family can take comfort in knowing that Jesus has  a special place for you by his side.   You will always hold a special place in our hearts. 

I miss you Sean.  Tomorrow will be 7 months since you passed.  You always came to me when  you had problems or things you needed help with and I tried my best above everything to.listen to you and be there for you. It's been a rough 13 months and Christmas isn't going to be the same without you here but I think about you , buddy, every day. 

Sean has been my greatest friend since a very young age second grade I've met Sean I love him to death he was one of the smartest people the kindest people always try to help everyone I love him so much I'm in shock I can't believe he's not around the corner I can't call him I can't go pick him up like we used to hang out and do all the time all the times he spend the night at my house playing video games tell me about all the books how much he loves reading Stephen King we used to talk about life the future what we wanted our goals all the people we loved and cared about how we wanted to strive for better things how we wanted to make up for everything we've done in our past and do the right thing I plan to have Sean in my life and grow old together being able to hang out and look at our past life and just laugh hear him joke always ready to have fun laugh I remember everything I talked to him not too long ago pick him up we hung out laughed all the good times when we live together in Ocala.. Tampa..St Pete.. go visit Orlando together all the amusement parks as little kids go to Adventure Island on the weekends then go to my place and play video games on the computer all night just sitting and talking about life and joking he was family he was everything that was my brother and he will always be my brother a piece of my heart is gone forever but I know he's in a better place because he believed it through all the demons we both shared and try to help each other always he always believe in a higher power used to always try to teach me the way of the Lord and the things he's learned from his family his brothers his mother his father how he wanted to do right by them and do right by everyone and just make a difference and have a purpose in life Always kind and caring he always was compassionate and had empathy and sympathy for the world and people he saw even though he had his own problems he cared about others. Sean I love you and I will see you again.  that I'm sure

No matter what happen. No memories can be replace. Sean Reber, no one will ever replace you in my heart. There will and forever a place in my heart for you.  Miss chatting with you. Thank you so much for being a great man , a good friend , and always a gentleman to me. I miss you & I will never forget about ours conversation and all those times you checking on me and see if I am ok. My heart hurts so much knowing I will never get to hear from you again. I MISS YOU VERY MUCH! LOVE YOU SEAN ! 

I've known Sean since first grade at Essrig Elementary. We had a class together each year. We'd get in trouble almost daily in 4th grade (because I would laugh out loud at his comments) & we served as safety patrols together. Although I have many memories of him, in 5th, there's one that I will never forget.. We had to do a show-and-tell sort of book report after reading a story where a beaver was forced to leave her home & had to pack only a few of her treasured belongings in a bag. We had to pack a few of our  favorite items in a bag to share with the class. When it was Sean's turn, he left the classroom for a moment. We all looked at each other confused but when he came back in, we were instantly in tears. He walked in with a stocking over his face (to resemble a beaver). Without even starting his speech, he had the whole class, including our teacher, laughing so hard. He was always a great friend and I'm glad it carried through to high school where, again, we had many classes together at Gaither. Although we lost touch after graduating, we were able to follow each other on social media and it was comforting to know that he never changed. He was Always kind, always smiling and always making others laugh... a genuine, belly laugh. He was so, So loved & will be greatly missed.
