SWEATMAN, Sally (McClelland), 75, of Tampa, FL, passed away on June 29, 2022, at home surrounded by family. She was born May 7, 1947 in Dunkirk, NY. Residing in Tampa, FL since 1983, she worked for decades in the accounting industry. Sally was a thoughtful and loyal friend that was always up for doing anything with her friends and family. Daughter of the late William “Pete” and Margaret “Marge” (Drake) McClelland, she was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Sweatman and sister, Susan (McClelland) Sinare. Sally is survived by her daughter, Shannon Sweatman; her brother, Fred McClelland, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 30, at Carrollwood Country Club, 13903 Clubhouse Dr, Tampa, FL 33618. The family will receive visitors starting at 10am, service at 11am, and a reception following. The floor will be opened for friends who wish to share memories. A memorial service in the Dunkirk/Fredonia, NY area will be planned in the future. Sally was a passionate reader, and the family asks that memorial donations be made in the form of a book to your local library.
