Ryan had a strong work ethic where he built his reputation as an executive who set a clear course, delivered results, and never apologized for high standards.
Ryan was more complex than any single story can capture—a gentle giant who loved to “poke the bear.” He led with confidence, relished being right, and sought out extraordinary, exclusive experiences and the finer things in life. Unapologetically himself, he was a relentless teaser, intense, and fiercely loyal to the people in his tight circle. He adored his wife, Heather, and their son, Easton, and delighted in cooking up feasts for family and friends. Nothing made him happier than a day on the water—especially pulling the kids around on an inner tube—or launching into a spirited debate he was certain he would win. Ryan was a doer, always on the move, chasing the next adventure. There will never be enough colorful words to describe him, but if you truly knew him, you loved him.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Crawford.
Ryan is survived by his wife, Heather; son, Easton; parents, Bob Heath, Timothy & Charlotte Burkhart; and four siblings.
