GILLETTE, Ruth L, 94, of Tampa, passed away January 14, 2019. She was born in Germany, moved to the United States as a young woman. She worked as a cigar roller in Cigar City.
She was preceded in death by her husband Boyce C. Gillette. Ruth is survived by son Neil D. Gillette and his wife Karen, grandchildren; Weston and Hannah, great granddaughter Harmony, daughter Karin Simonson and husband Richard, granddaughter Jackie and great granddaughter Monique, extended family and friends.
A visitation will begin 10:30 am, with a funeral service at 11:00 am, Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, burial will follow at the Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4207 E. Lake Ave., Tampa, FL 33610.
